Jody Eagen
President & Program Leader

Jody grew up in Windsor, Ontario and graduated from the University of Waterloo with an honours Math and Computer Science degree. In the many leadership positions he has held in his 20 years in the management ranks of the computer industry, Jody has been responsible for improving the status quo, whether in large projects or in departments of various organizations.

Jody's stand in life is Influential Explorer. His passion for travel and photography have taken him all around the world and have given him the life-altering opportunity to experience a diversity of cultures and people. Jody and Kathryn Kavanagh married in the fall of 2000 and are expecting their first child.

Jody started Edge Associated in 1996 and partnered with a well-established personal development organization, Context Associated. He has developed the following strategies to serve our mission to inspire, facilitate and demonstate self awareness as the key to creating effective, fulfilling and meaningful results in everyday life.

Jody designs and delivers personal development seminars, including the Excellence Series, which is licensed from Context Associated. Delivering these programs require a unique skill of trainer, leader, facilitator and encourager.

As Facilitator of corporate training, meetings and retreats, Jody motivates organizations to build powerful visions, missions, value-based cultures, strategies and action plans, as well as the strong, empowered teams required to meet all these challenges. The key is to define the future: personally, professionally and spiritually; then align ourselves to create that future.

As Author and Professional Speaker, Jody spreads the word about personal mastery in ways that people can relate to and use immediately. His first book, "Ask yourself, 'Are you really Effective?'" is both an empowering and practical workbook. Designed as a daily tool, this book allows the reader to design their own checks and balances, to ensure they stay effective and committed to creating their future, today.

As Personal Coach, Jody works with people to gain clarity about what's important now and in the future. Jody's clients embrace the support they need to achieve those goals and remain focused on the actions that will make the most significant impact on their personal and business lives.

Kathryn Kavanagh
Director of Operations & Program Leader

Kathryn grew up in Montreal and graduated from Champlain Regional College with a D.E.C. in Data Processing and Concordia University with a bachelor degree in Commerce, majoring in Management Information Systems and minoring in Finance. Kathryn spent 13 years in the ranks of the Computer Industry as an Acquisitions Specialist, business process designer and facilitator, and as manager to 40+ IT consultants. Regardless of the job, Kathryn focused on building bridges between people and looked for the fairest way to achieve the desired result.

Kathryn's stand in life is Equalizer. She brings her compassion and driving need for challenge and understanding to all that she does. Kathryn and Jody Eagen married in the fall of 2000 and are expecting their first child.

Kathryn joined Edge Associated as a business partner in April 1999 and has since developed the following strategies to express her stand:

As Director of Operations, Kathryn manages the operational aspects of Edge Associated's business, including its technology needs and future growth. She brings a sense of balance and consistency to answer the demands of a growing company. As the company's editor, book reviewer and general all-around 'wordsmith', Kathryn brings a high level of professionalism to the written words of our promotional material, website, newsletter and books.

As Program Leader of The Leadership Advancement Series and The Advancement of Excellence, Kathryn's warm presence at the front of the room and challenging feedback are both respected and welcomed by her participants.

As Facilitator of corporate training, meetings and retreats, Kathryn's direct and respectful approach assists companies to build powerful visions, missions, value-based cultures, strategies and action plans, as well as the strong, empowered teams required to meet these challenges.
